I’m honoured to be an ambassador for Natural Medicine Week 2026, an initiative led by the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society dedicated to promoting the role of natural and complementary medicine in supporting long-term health and wellbeing.
As a Clinical Nutritionist, I see every day how natural medicine can play a powerful and transformative role in health.
Through personalised, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies, we can support key areas such as gut health, hormonal balance, inflammation, and overall wellbeing.
Importantly, natural medicine is not about replacing conventional care — it’s about working alongside it. When integrated thoughtfully, this approach allows us to address not just symptoms, but the underlying causes of health concerns, empowering individuals to take a more proactive role in their wellbeing.

Bringing Natural Medicine Into the Community
This year, I’m taking this message beyond the clinic and into the community by joining my local parkrun in North Sydney.
Every Saturday at 8am, parkrun hosts a free, inclusive 5km event where people of all ages and fitness levels can walk, jog, or run together. It’s more than just exercise — it’s a powerful reminder that movement, connection, and consistency are foundational pillars of health.
You can learn more or find your local event here:
These simple, accessible habits are often where real change begins.

A Shift Towards Preventative Health
Natural Medicine Week is about more than awareness — it’s about inspiring a shift.
From reacting to symptoms → to understanding the root cause
From short-term fixes → to sustainable lifestyle changes
From isolation → to community support
True health is built through small, consistent actions — what we eat, how we move, how we manage stress, and how we connect with others.
Let’s Connect
Whether you’re just starting your health journey or looking to deepen your understanding, I encourage you to get involved this Natural Medicine Week.
If you’re attending the North Sydney Parkrun, please feel free to reach out or come say hello —
I would love to meet you.
Together, we can continue to build awareness, empower individuals, and support a more holistic approach to health.
